In Middle America every three minutes, six indigenous people die without knowing Jesus as Savior; about one Poqomam dies each day without hope of eternal life. Our ministry touches several communities, since the Poqomam do not live in one general area. The Poqomam live in Chinautla (north of the capital), in Palin (south of the capital), in various communities in the Department of Jalapa (east of the capital), and in El Salvador. They live in many ways as their ancestors the Mayas did centuries ago. They speak a Mayan language called Poqomam. We ask for your prayers as we travel to this country.. |
